Wife stabs husband to death in Sahiwal

A man was allegedly killed by his wife in a domestic incident in Sahiwal district, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday. 

According to police, 26-year-old Faiz was stabbed during a domestic dispute and sustained critical injuries in a suburban village of Sahiwal.  

Rescue officials said the injured man was being shifted to a nearby hospital when he succumbed to his wounds. 

Police said the woman initially claimed that the incident was a suicide case triggered by a domestic quarrel, but investigators later rejected the claim.

The SHO of Saddar Police Station said the evidence collected from the scene contradicted the suicide narrative.

Police have shifted the body to a hospital for post-mortem examination and launched further investigations to determine the exact circumstances behind the killing.
