Accusing the PTI of destroying the country’s economy, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ataullah Tarar said on Wednesday that the party was bent upon causing damage to the state just for the sake of its politics, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He said that the PTI was again looking to exploit a conspiracy akin to that of the US cipher for its political gains. “The European Union (EU) has been approached to strip Pakistan of its GSP status,” he said.

He claimed that the former prime minister and ex-PTI chairman Imran Khan was living the life of a royal in Adiala Jail.

Tarar clarified that earlier Imran would meet his family and party leaders four times in a month. “But now, these meetings have been disallowed in view of security concerns,” he said.
