Pakistanis are observing another Eid under the shadow of the pandemic as a lockdown imposed by the government has kept the people mostly confined to their houses. With no public transportation available and closure of markets and tourists places as well as parks mostly kept the people to their homes.
Pakistan is currently undergoing a third wave of coronavirus and is facing a lukewarm response from the public regarding the vaccination mainly due to the fake news and myths associated with the vaccines.
Pakistan is already lagging far behind in acquiring the coronavirus vaccine from other countries of the world and the vaccine jabs are being administered at a snail pace due to the lack of enthusiasm and trust among the people.
The authorities are urging the people to get themselves vaccinated as soon as possible and now the vaccine is being administered to the people with an age of 40-year or above on a walk-in basis and the registration process of people with 30-year-plus age has also started.
