Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday attended the funeral prayers of Havaldar Mohammad Naveed who embraced martyrdom while defending his motherland against recent Indian aggression in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

On the occasion, a smartly-turned out contingent of Pakistan Army paid guard-of-honour to the martyred soldier.

Talking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi paid glowing tributes to the sacrifice rendered by martyred havildar while performing his professional duty.

He also extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the heirs and relatives of Mohammad Naveed.

Mohsin Naqvi said that Mohammad Naveed defended his motherland and embraced martyrdom which is an honor for him.

Interior Minister said that he and the entire nation is standing with the family of martyred soldier on this hour of grief and sorrow.

Prominent among those who attended Namaz-e-Janaza of martyred soldier Mohammad Naveed include Inspector-General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar Corps Commander Lt.-Gen. Fayyaz Hussain Shah and high-officials of civil and military also offered Mohammad Naveed’s Namaz-e-Janaza.

Heirs and relatives of Mohammad Naveed were also present on the occasion.
