The United Arab Emirates has designated 21 individuals linked to Hezbollah as terrorists, according to official announcements, as part of wider security measures targeting alleged financial and organisational networks associated with the group.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the UAE Cabinet has also included five organisations linked to Hezbollah in its updated list of terrorist entities, ordering immediate action against those suspected of financial connections with the designated individuals and groups.

Under the decision, Emirati authorities have been instructed to take swift measures, including freezing the assets of the listed individuals and organisations within 24 hours.

Officials said the move is part of broader efforts to tighten monitoring of financial flows and prevent any suspected support networks from operating within or through the country.

In a separate development, Iranian authorities said they have dismantled five organised networks allegedly linked to the Israeli government.

Iranian intelligence officials also claimed that 20 suspects were arrested during the operations, with explosives and ammunition recovered from their possession.
