An interesting situation developed at a girls’ college in Lahore on Wednesday when a monkey appeared from nowhere, making the frightened girls run for the cover, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The spectacle was witnessed at Government Postgraduate Islamia Girls’ College, Cooper Road where the students screamed and ran here and there in panic on seeing a monkey in their midst.

The principal immediately called the wildlife department’s team which reached the college and took the monkey into its custody to rid the girls of a situation nothing short of a ‘nightmare’.

He further said it took the wildlife department team lot of time to catch the animal since it kept attacking the team members throughout.
