US dollar again closes at all-time high against Pakistani rupee

The US dollar continued its upward trend the whole day and after an increase of 9 paisas, it reached all-time high price at Rs171.13 against Pakistani currency at the closing time of the inter-bank trading, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Economist Asad Rizvi said that the recent surge of the US dollar against Pakistani rupee added Rs121 billion additional burden to Pakistan’s foreign loans.

Rizvi said the US dollar registered an increase of Rs18.85 in the last five months. On May 7, the US dollar was at Rs162.28 against Pakistani currency.
