Waqar Younis' father passes away
Muhammad Younis, father of Waqar Younis, former pacer and incumbent bowling coach of the Pakistan cricket team, passed away in Lahore on Saturday.
He had been under treatment at a private hospital in the Punjab capital for the last few days.
Waqar Younis, who was in Australia, had left for Pakistan early on Saturday after hearing about his father’s critical condition. An announcement regarding funeral prayers for the deceased will be made after Waqar’s arrival in Pakistan.
Waqar Younis’ wife Dr Faryal Waqar took to Twitter to share the news of her husband’s departure for Pakistan.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has conveyed its condolences to Waqar Younis on the sad demise of his father.
