Pakistan reports 67 more deaths, 2,988 new coronavirus cases
Pakistan reported 67 more coronavirus deaths and 2,988 new cases that emerged during the last 24 hours (Sunday), showed the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday morning.
According to the statistics released by NCOC, after the addition of 67 new deaths, the toll has now surged to 26,787, which represents a ratio of 2.2 percent.
The positivity ratio of the coronavirus cases in Pakistan has reached 5.62 percent, as 2,988 new coronavirus cases emerged in the last 24 hours after conducting 53,158 tests. It takes the total cases tally to 1,207,508.

The number of active cases in the country is 90,545 with 5,066 patients in critical condition.
There were 3,391 more recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours as the number of total recovered cases reached 1,090,176 with a 90.3% recovery rate.
Punjab, the most populous province of the country, has reported 1,208 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking the provincial tally to 414,390 with 26,287 active cases. In Punjab, 14 more patients died of coronavirus as the death toll reached 12,225. With 1,376 new recoveries, 375,878 patients have recovered from the virus in Punjab so far.
Sindh has recorded 905 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the provincial tally to 445,369 with 49,714 active cases. With 26 new deaths related to the deadly disease, the death toll in Sindh reached 7,159. With 871 new recoveries, 388,496 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 490 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 168,748 with 8,070 active cases. The province reported 20 new virus-related deaths as the death toll reached 5,270. With 368 new recoveries, 155,408 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Balochistan has recorded another 22 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 32,591 with 336 active cases. The province reported no new death as the death toll remains 342. With 36 new recoveries, 31,913 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Islamabad has recorded 246 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 102,863 with 4,216 active cases. With 2 new deaths reported in the Federal Capital, the death toll reaches 889. With 575 new recoveries, the number of recovered patients is 97,758 in the federal capital so far.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir
Azad Jammu and Kashmir has recorded 111 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 33,379 with 1,620 active cases. With 3 new deaths reported, the death toll reaches 721. There were 161 new recoveries in the AJK as 31,038 patients have recovered so far from the virus.
Gilgit-Baltistan recorded 6 new cases during the last 24 hours, as the tally reached 10,168 with 302 active cases. With 2 new deaths reported in the province, the death toll reached 181. There were 4 new recoveries as the number of patients recovered from the deadly disease reached 9,685.
