An anti-terrorism court in Lahore has acquitted over a dozen workers of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Announcing the decision on Tuesday, ATC Judge Ijaz Ahmad Buttar remarked that the prosecution had failed to establish charges against the accused.

TLP workers’ lawyers Saleem Khokhar and Isri Chaudhry Advocate argued before the court after which the judge announced his verdict.

The 14 TLP workers were accused of disturbances and damaging government properties for which a case had been registered at Ichhra police station on 2021.
