It appears that the days of recruitment in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on a political basis are over as the PCB Chairman Syed Mohsin Naqvi has sought the list of all such persons who have been inducted in the Board on the recommendations of political persons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Sources told 24News TV channel that Naqvi had also sought details of the posts these persons were holding as well as the salaries they were drawing.

Besides that, they informed, educational certificates of all those individuals who were recruited by bypassing rules and regulations would also be checked.

In other words, they said, the Board would now make sure that there should be the ‘right man for the right job’, and that the culture of ‘Sifarish’ would be discouraged.
