PTCL reports submarine cable fault, internet speeds may slow
Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) said a fault has developed in an international submarine cable used by the company, with repair work scheduled to begin on April 14, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.
According to a PTCL spokesperson, the maintenance operation will be carried out by the international cable consortium and is expected to continue until April 20.

During the repair period, internet users across the country may experience slower connectivity, particularly in evening hours when network demand typically rises.
PTCL said internet services could remain partially disrupted until the fault is fully resolved.
The company apologised for the temporary inconvenience, assuring users that work is being conducted to restore normal service as quickly as possible.
