A cleric Saturday killed a boy and injured his brother by torturing them for coming late to the Madrassa in Bahawalnagar.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, three brothers were studying in the Madrassa Faizul Quran in a city of Southern Punjab, Bahawalnagar.

The boys celebrated Eid with some extra vacations at their home and then returned to the madrassa on which the cleric becomes annoyed and tortured them.

He tortured the boys brutally and a 12 years old boy named Samiullah died on the spot while his 10 years old brother Razi Allah was badly injured.

Police registered a case against five accused persons related to the madrassa administration including the cleric on the complaint of the father of the victims.

The police have shifted the injured boy to the hospital for treatment and started raids to arrest the cleric.
