Shehbaz Sharif to leave for London for treatment of his ailing wife

Former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif will leave for London along with his wife Nusrat Shehbaz, who is presently admitted at Lahore’s Ittefaq Hospital, in the next few days for her treatment, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday. 

Sources told 24News that on the other hand, the condition of Nusrat, who is admitted at the hospital for the last four days, is still unstable.

They disclosed that other members of Shehbaz’s family would also accompany them on the visit.

Furthermore, they said, during his stay in London, Shehbaz would also meet with Nawaz Sharif, his elder brother and also the ex-prime minister.

Sources explained that previously too Nusrat had remained admitted at a London hospital, and now would fly to the UK capital after getting a clearance from doctors.

The former prime minister had dashed to Lahore yesterday immediately after nominating Anwaarul Haq Kakar as the country’s caretaker prime minister.
