A heartless father has been arrested for selling his newborn baby girl after snatching to her mother, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Tuesday.

According to the report, the incident took place in the Kannel area of tehsil Mawand in Kohlu, Balochistan where a father sold his just 20-day-old daughter.

The report said accused Mittha Khan forcibly snatched his daughter from her mother and sold to a buyer Anwar Khan against Rs2,00,000 cash.

On a complaint of the mother of the sold baby girl, Balochistan Levies initiated immediate action and arrested the accused father and the buyer.

Risaldar Major Levies Headquarters Sher Muhammad Murree has said that the Levies has recovered the newborn baby girl from the custody of the accused.

He said that a case was also registered against the accused seller and the buyer on the mother’s complaint.
