Man and his son, residents of Hafizabad, have been abducted by getting trapped in a cunning advertisement for an economical tractor posted on social media by hoaxers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Criminals are now utilizing social media as a tool to abduct citizens for ransom as a shocking incident of kidnapping has surfaced.
The culprits posted an advertisement for a cheap tractor on social media and tricked a man and his son to come to Kashmore, Sindh, to finalize a deal for a tractor.
When innocent father and son reached Kashmore all the way from Hafizabad they got abducted by them. The kidnappers not only snatched Rs 7,00,000 from them but also sent a video, in which father and son are tortured, to the family demanding Rs 10 million for their safe release.
The family is in severe grief and pain and they have urged Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to take notice of the incident.
