Trump vows retaliation after ISIS attack kills US soldiers

US President Donald Trump has vowed to retaliate following the killing of three American soldiers in an attack in Syria, which Washington has blamed on the Islamic State group, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said the deaths of the soldiers were a tragic loss and expressed deep sorrow over the incident.

“I am saddened by the deaths of three great American soldiers in the attack in Syria,” the president said.

He warned that any further attacks on US troops would be met with a strong and decisive response.

The statement underscores Washington’s firm stance against militant groups operating in the region and signals the possibility of renewed military action should American forces come under threat again.

US officials have not yet released further operational details, but the president’s remarks indicate heightened vigilance and a readiness to respond forcefully to protect American personnel deployed abroad.
