Turkish Minister of National Defence General (r) Hulusi Akar called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ in Rawalpindi on Friday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the meeting matters of mutual interest, regional security and measures to further enhance bilateral defence collaboration were discussed.

The Army Chief said that Pakistan valued its unique relationship with Turkey and would always stand by its brother.

The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s Armed Forces contributions for conflict prevention in the region and for standing by Turkey and pledged the same for Pakistan.
