Imran Khan, Pervaiz Elahi to hold meeting today

Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman will spend a busy day at his Zaman Park residence in Lahore today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Sources told 24News that there was an important meeting between the PTI chief and former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi today.

Senior PTI leader and former defence minister Pervez Khattak will also be present at the meeting.  

Both the PTI and the PML-Q’s high command would discuss forming a lasting political alliance at the meeting, sources said, adding that Imran would again invite Pervaiz Elahi, who is also a PML-Q leader, to merge his faction of the party into the PTI. 

Similarly, in their meeting, both Imran and Pervaiz would announce their final strategy with respect to elections to be held in future.     

PTI chief would also hold meetings with party leaders today at which he would consult them on the upcoming elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
