Snake spotted at Colombo Stadium ahead of Pakistan-India T20 World Cup clash
A four-foot-long snake was spotted at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo ahead of the highly anticipated ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Group A clash between Pakistan and India, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.
The reptile appeared in the stadium yesterday, just before Pakistan’s practice session.
Stadium staff quickly captured the snake and handed it over to wildlife authorities, ensuring safety for players and officials.
Both teams are preparing intensely for the marquee encounter, which is scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm PST on Saturday.
Officials confirmed that the incident caused no delays or disruptions to the practice sessions.
