Student set on fire in Pakpattan

A young student was critically injured after armed assailants poured petrol on him and set him on fire following a verbal altercation, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday. 

According to police officials, the attackers also beat the victim with fists and blows before dousing him with petrol.

The student sustained severe burns and was rushed to a nearby hospital in serious condition.

The incident has prompted immediate action from the Pakpattan police, which has registered a case against the suspects and launched an investigation to apprehend those responsible.

Police have urged anyone with information regarding the attackers to come forward, emphasizing that such acts of violence will be dealt with strictly under the law.
