Assembly dissolution: Who'll take care of Punjab?

The Governor House received the CM summary to dissolve the Punjab Assembly at 10:10 pm on Thursday and if the governor does not sign it, the Punjab Assembly will be dissolved at 10:11 pm today.

The assembly speaker will constitute a joint parliamentary committee consisting of six members under Clauses 1 and 2 of Article 224A of the Constitution.
The joint parliamentary committee will decide on the appointment of the interim chief minister in 3 days and if there is no consensus on the appointment of the interim CM in the joint parliamentary committee within three days, the matter will go to the Election Commission.
The Election Commission will take a final decision on the appointment of the interment chief minister in 2 days. The caretaker CM will form his cabinet to run state affairs.
According to the constitution, if an assembly ends before its appointed term, then the Election Commission of Pakistan is required to hold elections within the province within 90 days.
Two days ago, former information minister Fawad Ch announced Parvez Elahi has signed the summary to dissolve the Punjab Assembly and send it to the. If the governor does not dissolve the assembly in two days, it will stand dissolved automatically, he added.
