Investigation reveals actress was going through financial crisis before death
Humaira Asghar Ali was an actress and model whose decomposed body was found in her apartment in Karachi last week. The news of her death and details of the circumstances surrounding her final days left everyone awe. She died almost six months before her body was discovered in her apartment. Her body had decomposed beyond recognition when the owner of the apartment she had rented brought police with him to take possession of his property from the actress who was neither paying the rend nor picking his phone calls.
The latest police investigation into her death has revealed chilling details. Police say Humaira was suffering from an acute financial crisis. She said hello to someone on WhatsApp but nobody responded. In the days leading to her death, she tried to contact at least 10 people, including her brother.
According to the sources, five people have recorded their statements in the Humaira Asghar Ali death case, while 63 people will be questioned in this case. No drug or medicine was found in Humaira’s room, but a dry tub, torn clothes and cigarette butts were found there.
Sources say that Humaira removed her housemaid a few days before her death. Her gym trainer said that she used to work out three hours a day. Her mobile data and call record have also been made part of the investigation.
Police have found a brown colour diary which contains some email addresses and phone passwords. She reportedly had three WhatsApp numbers, one foreign number and two Pakistani phone numbers. Her mobile phone was switched off after October 6 and she sent messages to five close people on the last day. Draft emails have also been found in her mobile phone. She expressed disappointment after she was not paid the fee of a photo shoot.
