Pakistan, Iran and agree to constitute working group to facilitate Zaireen on Arabeen

Pakistan, Iran and Iraq Interior Ministers have decided to constitute a working group which will facilitate zaireen visiting Iran and Iraq on the eve of Arbaeen, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.

Addressing press conference after trilateral meeting, three countries agreed to move on jointly to resolve bilateral issues amicably.   

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded Iranian government for waiving vsia fees for Pakistani Zaireen on the eve of Arbaeen (Chehlum of Imran Hussian AS). On the occasion, Naqvi also lauded Iraqi government for making best arrangements for millions of zaireen. 

Interior Minister said the government has Pakistan has listened the complaints of Iran and Iraqi government regarding some zaireen prolonged stay, overworking in Iraq. 

He told Iranian and Iraqi counterparts that Pakistan is launching new system for zaireen and now registered companies can make arrangements for Zaireen and they will be responsible to bring back all zaireen from Iran and Iraq. 

Mohsin Naqvi also lauded Iranian government new visa relaxation on the eve of Arbaeen as Iran has wavied off visa fee for Pakistani zareen on the eve of Arbaeen who will have valid Iraqi visa. 

Interior Minister said Pakistan stood by Iran in its right to self defence. He said Pakistan openly condemned Israeli aggression on Iran and Prime Minister Shehbaz extended full support to Iran. 

He lauded Khamanie for achieving great success in fight against Israel. He said Arbaeen management was difficult task to mange but Iraqi government was making best arrangements and for it Iraqi government deserved appreciation.

rom January 2026, Pakistan will not allowing Pakistani to prolonged stay in Iraq. He said registered companies will be bound to go with the groups. He said over staying and working and staying illegal in Iraq will be discouraged. 

He also sought Iran and Iraq governments support in this regard. Earlier, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday attended a three-way conference in Tehran along with his Iranian and Iraqi counterparts, aimed at mitigating problems being faced by the pilgrims visiting the region and border issues, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Mohsin Naqvi joined Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and Iraqi Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari at the conference. Earlier, Mohsin Naqvi said that Pak-Iran-Iraq trilateral conference will help resolve the problems of pilgrims.

Speaking with his Iranian counterpart in Tehran, Mohsin Naqvi also expressed best wishes for Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian. Both the leaders have also discussed the issues of mutual interest and Pak-Iran relations.

Iranian Interior Minister expressed the hope that the visit of Mohsin Naqvi will certainly help in promoting Pak-Iran relations. Earlier, upon his arrival at Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran, Mohsin Naqvi was warmly welcomed by Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni.
