Hot and dry weather during next 24 hours

Meteorological Department has forecast hot and dry weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, North-East Balochistan, South Punjab are expected to remain partly cloudy, with the possibility of rain at a few places, accompanied by strong winds and thundershowers. 

During the next 24 hours the weather in Islamabad and the surrounding areas is likely to be warm and partly cloudy during the day. However, rain is expected at a few places during the evening/night, along with strong winds and thundershowers. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, partly cloudy weather is expected in most of the upper districts of the province, particularly in Dir, Swat, Malakand, Shangla, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, Kohat, Karak, and Waziristan. 

Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are expected to remain partly cloudy, with rain accompanied by strong winds and thundershowers at a few places.

The weather is likely to remain hot and partly cloudy in most districts of Punjab. 

However, rain with gusty winds, dust storms, and thunderstorms is expected at a few places in and around Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Jhang, Sahiwal, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Layyah, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan. Hailstorms may also occur at some locations during this period.

The weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most districts of Balochistan. However, rain with dusty winds is likely in Quetta, Ziarat, Pishin, Mastung, Kalat, Dera Bugti, Sibi, Zhob, Musakhel, Barkhan, Khuzdar, Lasbela, Loralai, and surrounding areas. 

The weather is expected to remain extremely hot and humid in most districts of Sindh.
