PM condemns rocket attack on MNA Mubarak Zeb’s house in Bajaur
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the rocket attack on the residence of Member of the National Assembly and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Mubarak Zeb Khan, in Bajaur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to a spokesperson, the PM on Saturday expressed deep concern over the incident and thanked Almighty Allah that no loss of life occurred during the attack.
The prime minister said that such acts of violence were unacceptable and aimed at destabilizing peace in the region.
Shehbaz Sharif directed the relevant authorities to conduct an immediate and thorough investigation into the incident. He also ordered the swift arrest of those involved in the attack, emphasizing that the perpetrators must be brought to justice without delay.
The PM reiterated the government’s resolve to eliminate terrorism and ensure the safety and security of public representatives and citizens across the country.
Earlier, the house of Special Assistant to PM on Tribal Affairs MNA Mubarak Zeb was targeted with a rocket in Bajaur in the wee hours of Saturday.
Last month, an improvised explosive device (IED) had detonated outside the residence of MNA Zeb, partially damaging the house.
The MNA confirmed the rocket attack in a post on X as well, adding that there were no casualties in the attack.

Also in April, eight people, including three security personnel and five residents, were injured after a roadside bomb targeted a vehicle of the Frontier Corps in the same district.
