Saheefa Jabbar reacts to criticism targeting condolences towards India Air crash victims
Popular Pakistani actress Saheefa Jabbar has reacted to the criticism targeting her and other showbiz figures for expressing sadness over the latest air tragedy in India which has claimed the lives of almost 265 people, with miraculously one passenger is believed to have survived.
Pakistani stars Mahira Khan, Sajal Ali, Imran Abbas, Durefishan Saleem, and many others shared prayers for the victims of the plane crash,h which did not go well with a few Pakistani netizens.
“India is banning your artists, and you are posting their news,” a fan asked in the comment section.
Responding to this, Saheefa added that she has grieved the loss of innocent lives irrespective of nationalism.
Her exact words are:
“They can ban as many artists as they want. I have nothing against the people of India. I deeply mourn the innocent lives lost. I can be against false propaganda, twisted narratives, and baseless accusations, but it takes someone truly cruel to not grieve the loss of innocent human lives. And remember: every innocent life we lose, the color of their blood is the same. Their families find strength”
