Three dacoits killed during police encounter in Kharian

Three most-wanted dacoits were shot dead during a police encounter in Kharian on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, a team of Crime Control Department (CCD) was taking the arrested dacoits to a location for recovery.

When the police team and dacoits reached near Pabbi Jungle, some colleagues of the dacoits suddenly started firing on the police party in a bid to free them from police custody.

During heavy exchange of firing, all the three dacoits were killed by the firing of their colleagues.

Later, the CCD police said that all the dacoits were wanted by the police in different criminal cases.  

One dacoit Danish Ali, who was a resident of Mullagar in the jurisdiction of Galyana Police Station was involved in the brutal killings of seven people and a policeman. He was also involved in collecting ransom from people.

The second dacoit Abbas Ashraf, who was resident of Gujranwala also involved in different cases of snatching and dacoity.

Ashraf Abbas committed a dacoity of Rs200 million in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station Gujrat and also carried head-money.

The third dacoit Mohammad Amir was became a symbol of terror in the area and wanted by the police in different terrorist cases.
