Two brothers killed, another critically injured as wall collapses in Quetta
A tragic incident in Quetta claimed the lives of two young brothers and left a third critically injured after a wall suddenly collapsed in the Khaliq Shaheed police station area on Link Road on Sunday, 24NewsHD TV reported.
According to police officials, the victims were identified as Zubair (15) and Talha (10), both sons of Khuda-e-Nazar.
Their third brother sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Eyewitnesses said the three brothers were playing near the site when a large section of a wall unexpectedly collapsed on them.
Residents and rescue workers immediately launched an effort to pull the children from beneath the rubble.
Despite the rescue attempt, Zubair and Talha succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while their injured brother was shifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Confirming the incident, the SP Sariab said two children had died, and one was injured after the wall collapse in the Khaliq Shaheed area of Link Road.
SHO Ijaz Mahmood also confirmed the identities of the victims and stated that all three children were brothers.
