A woman allegedly orchestrated murder of her husband in the Tajpura area of Hafizabad after he reportedly told her to quit her extramarital affairs.

Police collected evidence from the crime scene with the help of Punjab Forensic Science Agency’s Crime Scene Unit and started an investigation into the murder after Muhammad Naeem’s body was found near the railway lines on Friday morning.

According to Naeem’s family, his wife Ayesha orchestrated his murder with the help of her accomplices Hamid Mahmood and Husnain. Naeem’s brother said the victim was suspicious of his wife’s activities and this suspicion would result in frequent argument between the two. He said that Ayesha and her accomplices barged in their house, shut the entire family in one room, took Mahmood to another room, shot him dead and then threw his body at a deserted place.

Police have registered an FIR on the complaint of the victim’s brother and initiated an investigation into the charges against Ayesha and her alleged accomplices.
