Former Punjab chief minister and PTI President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi will contest the by-election for the Punjab Assembly seat from a Gujrat constituency, PP-32, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The seat had been vacated by PML-Q’s Chaudhry Salik Hussain.

In this connection, Chaudhry Pervaiz signed the nomination papers in a courtroom on the occasion of his appearance in Special Central Court in a money laundering case on Thursday.
