NCOC suspends corona vaccination of teenagers from age 12 to 15

National Command Operation Center (NCOC) Sunday suspended anti-coronavirus vaccination of teenagers from age 12 years to 15 years till November 15, 2021.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the NCOC had taken the decision to suspend the vaccination due to the national anti-Measles and Rubella virus campaign that would continue from November 15 to 27 this year.
During the anti-Measles and Rubella virus campaign, children between the ages of 9 months and 15 years would be vaccinated.
On Sunday, the NCOC meeting was briefed on the corona epidemic situation across the country and the full vaccination status of different cities.
The NCOC was informed that 50 per cent of people of different cities including Narowal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Peshawar, Gilgit, Skardu and Islamabad were vaccinated while Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sialkot, Mianwali, Charsadda, Karachi and Hunza were among the cities with 40-50 per cent vaccination rate.
The NCOC decided to relax restrictions in the cities having 40 per cent or above vaccination and restrictions would remain in place in cities with a vaccination rate of less than 40 per cent.
