Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Monday said that he wants friendly ties with all countries including China, Russia, and the US on equal footing but will not accept slavery at any cost, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing long march participants at Mandi Bahauddin, Jaranwala, Charsadda, Jhelum and Chiniot via a video link, former prime minister Imran Khan said he always wanted an independent foreign policy for Pakistan.

“We don’t want enmity with anyone. We want good relations with everyone, but not slavery,” he vowed. “We can have friendly ties with India provided the Kashmir issue is solved,” he hinted.

Taking a jibe at the current regime for non-registration of FIR, he accused the Punjab police of not filing the FIR as it was under pressure from the federal government to do so.

PTI chairman said that registering a first information report (FIR) of the attempt on his life in Wazirabad is his right. He also lamented that he is unable to register the FIR of the attack on him in Wazirabad, despite being in power in Punjab.

Imran Khan said that a country's prosperity is directly linked to rule of law. “If a country does have the supremacy of law and constitution, it cannot become wealthy,” he asserted.

He added that only justice and peace can ensure the prosperity of a society. He pointed out that Pakistan is at 129 on the rule of law index. "How can we prosper then?" The secret behind the prosperity of western countries is rule of law, he added.

PTI chief Imran Khan said that Imran Khan alleged that a propaganda cell in Pakistan is working against him. The cell is used to pick and choose things from my interview and then turn those against me, he maintained.

Former premier Imran Khan lashed out at the Sharif brothers, questioning how Shehbaz Sharif could consult with an absconder and convict on the appointment of an import seat. “We will legally review how can Shehbaz Sharif consult with an absconder and a convict,” he pointed out.

He said that Nawaz Sharif will never take decisions in Pakistan's interests and will just think about protecting his own assets.

He again called on the apex court to probe the killing of Arshad Sharif, the alleged torture of Senator Azam Swati, and the Wazirabad FIR.

Khan further said that the PTI leaders have approached the apex court for the Wazirabad incident. We are very much hopeful that the Chief Justice of Pakistan will look into the matter,” he added.
