Dar meets US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Türkiye FM Hakan Fidan

Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a candid exchange with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the margins of the Gaza Peace Summit in Egypt on Monday.

Dar appreciated the role of the United States and Türkiye in supporting efforts that led to the ceasefire and in advancing the shared goal of lasting peace and stability in the region.

He emphasized the importance of continued international engagement and humanitarian support for the people of Gaza and Palestine, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to a just and durable resolution of the Palestinian cause.
