Call it a ‘technical fault’ or result of ‘negligence’, people in Peshawar are travelling in Bust Rapid Transit (BRT) buses without tickets as ticket machines have ceased to function, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Sources in BRT have told 24News TV channel that all ticket machines have become dysfunctional owing to a technical fault.

The sources have further told that despite the passage of several hours, the fault in these machines could not be fixed.

Trans Peshawar Spokesman Muhammad Umair, however, said the matter was not in his knowledge, and even if reports of machines ceasing to function were true, they would soon be repaired.
