First Congo virus patient admitted to Mayo Hospital

After the corona and dengue, the threat of the Congo virus also began to loom as the first infected patient has been admitted to Mayo Hospital in Lahore on Tuesday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, a 14 years old teenage boy, Sufiyan has been hospitalized after being infected by the Congo virus.

The hospital sources said that the patient had come to the hospital with a complaint of fever and bleeding through the mouth.

Sufiyan belonged to Sheikhupura district and was working in a paper factory in Lahore city. He has been quarantined in the hospital.

Professor Dr Balqees, Head of the Medicine Department in Mayo Hospital would treat the Congo virus patient.
