Indian mortar bomb found in Shakkargarh

A 51mm India-made mortar bomb was found in the border village of Bhopalpur in Shakkargarh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Police and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) rushed to the site and cordoned off the area and took the mortar to an unknown location.
In a shocking revelation, BDS officials said that the mortar was fired from the Indian side but missed its target and did not explode, otherwise, the damage would have been severe.
On August 14, local labourers at a sand-filling site have also found 14-pound India-made anti-tank mine in Narowal.
In July-2019 an India-made anti-tank mine was also recovered from Nullah Dek near the Kartarpur corridor during digging out sand from Nullah Dek found the 14-pound anti-tank mine. Nullah Dek in Tehsil Zafarwal, in Narowal district, which is somewhere 125-km from Lahore.
