Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have arrested six more suspects in connection with the high-profile Noor Mukadam murder case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In the latest development, the police arrested the owner of the physiotherapist centre Dr Tahir and five others in a late-night raid on Saturday. They were arrested for withholding information and facts from the investigators.

The scope of the investigation in the Noor murder case has been widened and now the police investigators are questioning the suspects.

The arrested included Amjad, who was injured after being stabbed by alleged killer Zahir Zakir Jeffer. Police delayed his detention because of his injury and now he is behind the bars.

All accused arrested in the latest raid would now be presented before the magistrate to seek their physical remand.

Last month, accused Zahir Zakir allegedly beheaded his friend Noor Mukadam, a daughter of former ambassador to Bangladesh, South Korea, and Kazakhstan, for unknown reasons.

Authorities had arrested the prime suspect and his parents and accomplices who are all on physical remand with the police.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has also assured the nation that suspects would not simply walk away from the scene in this case.
