Indonesian woman recovered from Hyderabad

Sindh Department of Women Development on Saturday recovered an Indonesian woman namely Anda Marlan, who somehow filed a complaint regarding her illegal detention in Hyderabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In her complaint, the Indonesian woman said that she was invited to visit Pakistan for marriage purpose but soon after her arrival, she was abducted.

Upon her arrival, her passport and other travelling documents were seized.  Incharge Complaint Cell Nasreen Paleejo immediately took action on the complaint and filed an application in Police Station Naseem Nagar for her recovery.

Later, the Naseem Nagar Police Station team informed that no action was taken on the complaint of the Indonesian woman yet.

Police further revealed that the Indonesian woman is not present at the location. Later, the matter was referred to the court. 

On the orders of the court, the police recovered the Indonesian woman, who is present at Hyderabad Police Station. 

Nasreen Paleejo said that the Department of Women Development is available to help deserving women. She said that all the institutions must play their due role in delivering timely justice to women.
