PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday again ruled out any possibility of talks with the government or national dialogue, saying how it was possible in the presence of a puppet prime minister, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He was talking to media persons outside the Kot Lakhpat jail after meeting the imprisoned PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif to offer his condolences over the demise of Begum Shamim Akhtar – the mother of Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif.

What kind of national dialogue when the National Assembly Speaker doesn’t even allow the opposition members to speak in the House, Bilawal remarked.

He described the opposition’s resignations as an “atom bomb” which would be used jointly at an appropriate time. Prime Minister Imran Khan would have to resign, said the PPP chairman who again mentioned the January 31 deadline announced by the PDM a day earlier.

“Imran would have to leave the illegitimate office,” said Bilawal who added that the PDM was united and striving hard for genuine democracy in Pakistan.

The current rulers have neither the capability to run the country nor the courage to listen to the truth, said Bilawal and added that Pakistan had suffered serious losses on different fronts – from economy to Kashmir – under the PTI government.

He blasted the government for imprisoning the opposition leaders and said both Shehbaz and PPP leader Khursheed Shah were in prison without any reason.

Chiding those repeating the accountability mantra, Bilawal said not a single allegation or charge had been proven against the opposition members despite an orchestrated media campaign.
