Cricketer Rizwan receives weird proposal from fan girl

December 15, 2021 03:48 PM

Was it a simple request or an underlined message? Sportsmen, especially those in form, are considered hot cakes by the opposite sex and females do not waste any opportunity to get attention of their favourite public heroes.

The same happened with Pakistani opening batsman Muhammad Rizwan during the second T20 International cricket match between Pakistan and West Indies at the National Cricket Stadium in Karachi on Tuesday night.
A young girl donning Pakistani one-day outfit rose in the cheering crowd and hoisted a poster with caption inscribed: “Rizwan please adopt me!!!”

AFP news agency first ran the picture of the girl with the banner up in her arms and a broad smile on her face, hoping to get attention of her favourite hero with the caption “A spectator cheers as she watches the second Twenty20 international cricket match between Pakistan and West Indies at the National Stadium in Karachi on December 14, 2021.”
The AFP news agency here completely missed what was written on the poster the girl was holding and certainly missed a chance to put up an interesting story.

Some called the girl’s proposal a weird one and others gave it meaningful smile.

Later, sports website ESPNCricinfo shared the picture of the young girl and tagged Rizwan, who has scored 1,239 runs in 2021- the highest score in T20s in a calendar year.
“Hello Mohammad Rizwan,” ESPNCricinfo captioned the picture on its Twitter handle.

It may be mentioned here that the Pakistani master-blaster, Muhammad Rizwan, had married his cousin in 2015 and has two daughters with her.
