A session court in Bahawalpur Wednesday handed death sentence to four accused involved in gang rape of a student in Hasilpur are of Bahawalpur.

Additional session judge Rana Abdul Hakim announced the verdict in the case.

The accused had gang raped the girl student during committing a dacoity in Hasilpur. The police had acted quickly and had arrested all the four accused soon after the incident.

The police had produced the accused before the court after complete interrogation and technical evidences that led to their sentence.
