US dollar trades in positive territory against rupee

The US dollar again opened on a positive note as the inter-bank trading started on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The greenback gained 12 paisas to again hit the Rs178 mark in the early business.
The rupee has been persistently losing its value lately making the dollar costlier day by day.
According to forex dealers, the US dollar closed at Rs177.88 on Tuesday.
