Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Rana Sanaullah has said that Maryam Nawaz should be allowed to visit her ailing father Nawaz Sharif in London.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, he said that it is Maryam’s right to be with her father while he gets treatment in London.  “I think Maryam Nawaz should be there with her father while he receives treatment. The government should remove Maryam’s name from ECL. We are also praying for the speedy recovery of Nawaz Sharif,” he said.

Referring to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) raid on PML-N’s offices on Saturday, he said that he strongly condemned it. “The NAB raided the offices of the Sharif family again today and we condemn these actions of NAB on PML-N’s offices. There is nothing worse than false cases against opponents. The proceedings of NAB are a worst example of political revenge. Those calling us thieves are dacoits themselves,” he said.

The PML-N leader also lashed out at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf  (PTI) led government for prevailing inflation and economic instability. “The price of sugar has increased from 52 to 90. They have created artificial scarcity of wheat and sugar in the country. We used to provide free medication to people in our tenure,” he said.

Earlier in the day, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) summoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah in illegal assets case on February 19. According to details, NAB has summoned Rana Sanullah on February 19 and has instructed him to bring along details of his family properties.

NAB has also sought details of already submitted assets Performa along with source of income of his investment and gifts.
