Does fast bowler Dale Steyn play for Zimbabwe? It may sound absurd and certainly the South African right arm fast bowler had "concern" about the false information ran on the Wikipedia website.

Earlier this month, the 36-year-old right arm fast bowler Steyn sought the help from the social media to get the false information rectified.

"Can anyone from @google help me change the information of me on your Wikipedia?

"A pretty serious point of information is FALSE and I’d love to have it changed", he posted a message on the social media.

Though he didn't specify the false information but one of his Indian fans spotted it immediately.

A travel lover, Kishore, living in Bangalore spotted that the Wikipedia website had quoted saying his national side as Zimbabwe.

"Let me see if I can change national side to South Africa @DaleSteyn62", he sent a message to the bowler.

Ultimately, the correction has been made and now the Wikipedia website correctly mentions its national side as South Africa.

Styen has played 93 Tests, 125 ODIs, and 45 T-20Internationals capturing 439, 196 and 62 wickets respectively in different formats of the game.
