Lady polio worker attacked in Lahore

A female polio worker was allegedly assaulted by some unknown persons in Baghbanpura area of Lahore on Wednesday, two days after anti-polio campaign was kicked off in the city, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
It was learnt that the unidentified individuals misbehaved and abused the female polio worker when she went to a house to administer polio drops to the children.
The police reached the spot after receiving the information and started taking legal action against culprits.
