Multan Sultans, Quetta Gladiators to clash in third PSL 8 match today
Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators will vie in the third match of the ongoing eighth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Wednesday (today).
The match will be played between the PSL foes at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The match will start at 7:30pm.
It is to be noted here that the home side lost their campaign opener in PSL 8 in a thrilling encounter against Lahore Qalandars.
It also merits a mention here that Multan Sultans were the losing finalists of last year’s competition against the same opponent.
However, Quetta Gladiators will be playing their first match of PSL 8 today. They are being hoped to make a winning start.
Iftikhar Ahmed, who is playing from Quetta Gladiators, is expected to outperform the batters in his team. Iftikhar had hit consecutive six sixes to Peshawar Zalmi’s bowler Wahab Riaz in a practice match in Quetta Stadium before the start of PSL 8.
On the other hand, pacer Naseem Shah is expected to give a tough time to the batters of Quetta Bowlers with his intimidating bowling attack.
