Charsadda police seize huge quantity of weapons

Charsadda police thwarted an attempt to carry out a terrorist attack and recovered huge quantity of weapons from a suspicious bag in Khawaja Vas area of Charsadda, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Police sources said that they received credible information that a suspicious bag lying in the jurisdiction of Police Station Khawaja Vas.
Police along with Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) reached the site and conducted a detailed examination of the bag.
During checking process, the police team recovered nine rocket launchers bullets, 13 fuse, 5 cartridges and 40 colourful cartridges.
Further investigation was underway.
