Good news for cricket fans as chances of rain during Pak-India match become fewer

Good news for cricket fans across the sub-continent as the Met Office on Sunday predicted that the chances of rain during the high-voltage Pakistan-India match in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup to be played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka today had become fewer, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

The Met Office, however, predicted that the conditions would remain overcast.

Earlier, regional meteorological office forecast possible rain in Colombo.

Both Pakistan and India have four points from two matches they have played so far in the tournament; however, the Indian side currently tops the points table courtesy of their net run rate, with Pakistan in the second spot.

The match will mark the first time both teams will be facing each other since last year's Asia Cup final, a tense event held following military conflict between India and Pakistan that nearly escalated into a fully-fledged war between the nuclear-armed neighbours.
