Medical stores on strike in Faisalabad

All drug stores in Faisalabad are closed as the pharmacists association is observing a one-day shutterdown strike on Thursday against one percent increase in advance tax and vowed to go on strike for an indefinite period from July 29 if their demand would not be heard, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Former president of the pharmacists association Mian Tanveer warned of strike for an indefinite time from July 29.
A large number of citizens are facing difficulties in buying medicines because the city's medical stores are closed due to the strike.
